Family Movie Event - The House with a Clock in its Walls

  • Battle Creek Regional History Museum 307 Jackson Street West Battle Creek, Michigan, 49037 United States (map)

Get ready for a magical adventure with The House with a Clock in Its Walls! When young Lewis moves in with his mysterious Uncle Jonathan, he discovers a world of witches, warlocks, enchanted objects, and a mysterious clock hidden inside the walls of their creepy old house. Starring Jack Black and Cate Blanchett, this spooky, fun-filled adventure is perfect for a family movie outing!

A little local history! Did you know the movie’s mysterious mansion was inspired by the historic Cronin House in nearby Marshall, Michigan? The house inspired Marshall native John Bellairs, who wrote the original book that became the movie. While the film itself was shot elsewhere, the story has a special connection to our own community!
