Current Exhibits

The Andi Gray Family Collection: Jan and the collections committee will provide information to create engaging captions about the images they provide of current Exhibits.
The Front Lobby Exhibit: Currently, the Museum’s front lobby houses the grandfather clock from Post Tavern, circa 1902. Next to it, visitors can see a beautiful gown from the 1890's, donated to us by Grace Health Systems.
1926 Ford Truck and Country Store Exhibit: this exhibit features a replica 1926 Ford Kellogg’s delivery truck and Country Store. The truck was donated by Win Howard of Richland MI , a former Kellogg’s engineer who painstakingly recreated the vehicle to show what dry goods deliveries looked like a century ago. The Country Store was built by volunteer Jim Ford to represent the other side of dry good sales and deliveries during that time period.
The Huron Potatwatomi Exhibit: these artifacts were donated to the museum by a member of the Huron Potawatomi band. Show here are woven baskets used for gathering and storing food and other supplies.

Black History in Battle Creek: Coming in early 2027
Battle Creek's Black community has shaped this city for generations—from its role on the Underground Railroad to the churches, businesses, and neighborhoods that built its modern identity.
This winter, BCRHM presents a new exhibit exploring black history through artifacts, photographs, and stories drawn from the local community. Check back for exhibit details, opening events, and hours as the date approaches.
